Chelsea SpangleR

Chelsea Spangler is a visual artist who has experimented with oils, watercolors, charcoal, and pottery but her medium of choice is acrylic paint. As a local artist currently residing in Vail, Colorado she is constantly inspired by the majestic beauty of the mountains that surround her.  Originally a small-town girl from Wahoo, Nebraska moving to the mountains in 2013 was a big change in scenery.  She takes every adventure she can to seek out high alpine lakes throughout the summers to capture the grounding stillness that comes from her backyard mountain reflections.  As a self-taught artist, Chelsea started creating art in high school for fun but has since then earned her first piece of commissioned work in 2020.  From there, she began diving deeper into the world of art to express her viewpoint of nature as it truly is.  Her realism and attention to detail is truly what sets her work apart.
