Shawn Pleimann

Shawn Pleimann is a multi medium artist specializing in sculpting and hot cast bronze. She currently resides in Minneapolis, MN.  Shawn was born in San Francisco, CA and had the unique upbringing of splitting her time between New York City and the Central Coast of California. Growing up with an artist father, an architect dad, and a sculptor grandfather, Shawn was exposed to the arts for as long as she can remember.   

Shawn received her degree from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, CA.  Post graduation Shawn remained active in the arts doing freelance works for various businesses, newspapers, and individual clients.  Shawn’s current endeavor, Shawn Monroe Rice Fine Arts, is focused on creating one-of-a-kind bespoke creations for her clientele.  Her commissioned works include drawings, paintings, and various sculptors - both small and large-scale installations. Each project consists of multiple works, often in a range of different media, grouped around specific themes and meanings.
